About Us
WagAndBark.com, a Houston-Texas based importer and distributor of specialty pet products, was founded in 2009 by Sheryl Davis Farnsworth.
After spending a significant amount of time in the corporate world, Sheryl entered into a Master’s Degree program in London, with the family dogs in tow. However, the change in environment caused excessive barking and other undesirable behaviors, which required a proactive solution. An extensive search began for a humane and loving system that would assist in changing unwanted behaviors without using electro-static shock collars or citronella spray collars. While walking their dogs in the local dog park, the Farnsworths were introduced to the JetCare® training product (cold spray collar), by a fellow dog lover. Several collars were purchased, and used with great success.
Upon returning to Houston, it was discovered that the cold-spray anti-bark & training collars were available in many countries around the world, but had yet to reach the United States. After visiting with the French manufacturer, Sheryl decided to become the distributor for the United States and Canada, so that other dog parents would also be able to enjoy the benefits of these exceptional products.
